2 out of 5 stars

A masala film gone completely wrong. Even the first half is fairly watchable but the second half is slow and uninteresting. Pawan Kalyan’s overconfidence has resulted in he taking over the Story and Screenplay department and the output is a dud. The film happens in a fictional village which is ruled by a Don who exploits the village by mining. Pawan gets posted there and the film is about how he saves the villagers. There is also a love angle with Kajal who is a Princess. The first half has some good mass scenes and the interval block (though similar to many films) gets the fans hysterical. However, in the second half the director struggles to have a single interesting scene. The comedy is boring and the film moves at snail pace. Even DSP’s songs don’t make an impact. Just when you are waiting for the movie to end, comes an Antakshari that tests your patience. Kajal is pretty and Pawan indeed has an electrifying screen presence. The script lets us all down.
