4 out of 5 stars

If you loved Pushpa, you will like Pushpa2. If you didn’t like Pushpa then don’t waste your time with this sequel. The film starts off from where it left. Allu Arjun has become the head of the syndicate. FaFa continues to hunt him down. How Allu Arjun manages to overcome these obstacles and a family problem forms the basic plot. Allu Arjun as always is brilliant as Pushpa. The mass scenes have worked out perfectly and most of the stunts are extraordinary. The internal segment is brilliant. FaFa plays his role to perfection. Rashmika excels in both the sentiment scenes as well as the glamorous love scenes. The dialogues were great like in the first part but a particular scene with sign languages is super mass. In the second half, there is an extended temple sequence with two songs and a fight that brings down the tempo. Sree Leela’s song placement at this time tests the patience. The climax fight is too over the top and gravity defying. Yet, the film ends on a sentiment high with a lead to the Part 3. I love watching this franchise because it’s a mindless time pass.
