4.5 out of 5 stars

A brilliant film. One of the best telugu films in recent times. I enjoyed the film so much that I am definitely planning to watch it one more time. I am a big fan of romantic movies and this one has love all over it. I was expecting director Vikram Kumar to come up with a horror film after his super successful 13B (Yaavarum Nalam in tamil). I was actually surprised when he chose to make a family drama with Nagarjuna. I was pleasantly surprised watching this film because it is not just another family drama! The director has seamlessly made a film with 3 generation of actors (Nageswar Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya). This is no big deal but in this film, Naga Chaitanya’s son is Nagarjuna and Nagarjuna’s son is Nageswar Rao!. Not going to reveal anything more. The acting is brilliant from all 3. Samantha and Shreya are simply super in their roles. Songs and cinematography is also excellent. I particularly liked the names of lead characters: Nagarjuna, Nageswar Rao, Nagarjuna, Krishna, Radha, Ram, Seetha. I also liked how many scenes in the film are interlinked and how the tempo is build for the climax. There are a few cameo’s that are good too. Many telugu films were successfully remade (eg. Bommarillu) but this one cannot be remade and if they do, it will not get the same result….because there aren’t any legends around to do justice to Nageswar Rao’s role. Don’t miss this film.
