3 out of 5 stars

An average prison thriller from the talented Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. Nitiin is wrongly accused as a terrorist and sent to prison. He is convicted and sentenced to death. How he manages the situation with the help of Chess forms the unconvincing plot. While the film is based on chess there are no brilliant moves in the film until the very end. This is the biggest drawback in the film and such a film coming from a brilliant director is a disappointment. The film itself is not boring and the plot is good. Probably the director could have made it a little more convincing.
