2.5 out of 5 stars

A missed opportunity for Vishnuvardhan. A tried and tested story completely wasted. I enjoyed reading this as a weekly novel in Anandha Vikatan. Every week ended with a suspense and the twists were really engaging, With such a story as base, the screenplay for movie could have been done in a gripping way but it isn’t. The movie is not bad but it is not good too. Arya is a local rowdy who comes to Chennai. Krishna is an aspiring actor who comes to Chennai looking for an acting opportunity. Arya is tasked with a murder of a girl. Krishna gets a chance to act in a movie directed by SJ Surya (cameo). Fate gives the much-needed twist. The actors have done their part well. There is a bit of comedy too. Yuvan’s music that falls flat along with the director’s uninspiring screenplay.
