The film is caught in 80s time warp and a mostly tests your patience. The film starts with an aged Ajith (47 yrs) organizing a village festival. While everyone else has a family, Ajith is without his family. Then starts a flashback involving romance with Nayanthara and why they split after the flashback. The rest of the story is about how Ajith saves Nayanthara and his daughter from a villain and unites with them. The first half has nothing interesting until a high octane fight before the interval. The second half is boring with poor comedy and sentiment scenes that test your patience. The film is full of illogical scenes including a villain with whom Ajith does some comedy when the film starts and in the flashback you learn that this is the same guy who tried to kill Ajith and his family(?!). The only good thing about the film are certain scenes involving Ajith’s daughter which are touching. There is a scene with a dialogue which refers Ajith as a Banyan tree that gives shade to everyone yet stands in the sun. Ajith has given enough shade to Siruthai Siva. He needs to stop doing that again.
