A realistic story on the plight of farmers. Samuthrakani is a farmer. The bankers lure him and his fellow villagers to take a farm loan. Their happy lives turn upside down due to drought and increasing interest on the loan. Desperate to protect their farms, they move to the city in search of job. What happens to them forms the plot. Samuthrakani as always is casted in a stereotype role. However, he does justice to his role. The film is interesting and the premise showcases the plight of farmers well. Some of the scenes are predictable. The ending is realistic.
