A treat for Ajith fans. There is the usual punch dialogues, over the top action, slow motion walks and people talking about the good qualities of Ajith (he working hard, rising on his own, helping the needy, blah, blah…). For others, there is nothing beyond the first half. The first half is good with a lot of comedy scenes from Santhanam and establishes the characters well. Ajith living with 4 brothers. Ajith has decided not to get married for the sake of his brothers. His brothers are in love and they take the help of Santhanam to make Ajith fall in love. Ajith does fall in love with Tamanaah. While Ajith and his brothers fight for the right cause, The heroines family hate violence. Everything seems fine until here. It is the second half that tests your patience with mindless action and several rehashed scenes from Telugu movies. Before every fight scene Ajith walks in slow motion for 2 minutes. The film has too many slow motion scenes which make the second half look like a 2hr segment. Even the villains speak in slow motion: I….will…..kill…..youuuuu. DSP’s songs disappoint and act as speed breakers. Ajith should seriously change his looks. A smart person like him in his so called salt and pepper look with white beard is like Tamannah’s dad. The second half is like a 80s Telugu masala movie. The hero getting beaten to death and then getting up to fight is no longer there in Telugu movies too. Watch only the first half.
