A great effort and kudos to director Shakthi Soundar Rajan for making such a film. This is Tamil’s (perhaps India’s first space film) and is pretty decent. An asteroid is about to destroy half of Tamil Nadu. The only option is to steal a nuclear bomb from China’s space station and then blast the asteroid. The government takes the help of Jayam Ravi who is a magician and escape artist to help steal the nuclear bomb. Do they manage to save the state forms the plot. Yeah, Ofcourse we know that the hero will save us. The film has similar predictable plots, father-son sentiment and some mild romantic scenes. The villains and their antics are a weak link. There are no tense moments and that’s one big drawback. Yet the film is definitely watchable for the effort, good CG work and the plot.
