3 out of 5 stars

A good thriller that could have been a lot more interesting if not for the logical loopholes and an inconclusive climax. Aishwarya Rajesh is Athria, a police inspector. When her childhood friend Surya disappears and is later found murdered, Aishwarya takes up the investigation. Though slow, the story has some good twists. The love story has also been shot well. There are some questions unanswered such as to why the friends stopped seeing each other. I didn’t like the climax. I felt the director didn’t have the conviction or courage to talk about the sensitive topic he has taken up. Leaving the ending to audience’s guess is a disappointing way to end the film. When you can’t show something because you are scared of backlashes, then don’t make such films would be my advice. Leave the job to a bold filmmaker.
