1.5 out of 5 stars

In 18th century, Arthi comes and protects gold. Thangalaan’s great grandfather Elephant mountain. Thangalaan land is set fire and Arthi comes in his dream. He goes with British person but Arthi comes. He then tries but gold stone is dust. Then the british officer is villain. Arthi tells Thangalaan to fight. He takes gold and Thangalaan theme song. If this review is incoherent then imagine my plight….watching a 2.5hrs incoherent movie. Great acting. Excellent art decoration. However, the loud music, dialogues that are difficult to understand and poor screenplay make it a tedious watch. Ranjith is trying to speak Dalit politics even when it is not required and that is a big put off.
