Quarter Kg Thimiru, Quarter Kg Sandakozhi, Quarter Kg Malaikottai and Quarter Kg Santhanam Comedy; when mixed well will give you Pattathu Yaanai. The film is a rehash of previous Vishal films but unfortunately, they have taken the boring parts of these films and mixed them :). Santhanam’s comedy is the only saving grace and enjoyable part. Unfortunately, there is no Santhanam in the second half and that makes the second half a complete bore. The songs are pathetic. Heroine (Arjun’s daughter) acts as a school student but looks like a schoolteacher. You can watch Santhanam’s comedy in TV channels and hope Vishal choses a better script for his next film.
