2.5 out of 5 stars

The film could have been another Attakathi if not for its lengthy narration. This is a short film converted to a full length feature. If only the director had made it shorter at around 2hrs (instead of 2.5hr), the audience would have liked it better. The hero, Vaibhav is in love with the heroine for 3 years but doesn’t reveal his love. His friends call him Idhayam Murali! On the day of her engagement, he tries to commit suicide. His friends take the help of the heroine to save him and this leads to some twists, cliched narration and predictable climax. A light humour is mixed across all scenes but beyond a point you want the interval to come or the film to end. A great debut by Priya Bhavani Shankar and she shows a lot of promise. Songs are different and interesting. Excellent acting by Vaibhav.
