4 out of 5 stars

A great film. Only those who like alternate cinema can truly appreciate this film. The film is about a simple villager who dreams to own his own piece of land and what he goes through. The film is absolutely realistic. Theni Easwar’s cinematography is brilliant. Illayaraja’s music is the film’s lifeline. Director Lenin Bharathy has ensured that the storytelling is perfect. Yet, the slow paced art house type of narration could put off many people. There are no commercial compromises. My mom and some of my friends felt it is too slow and boring at times. I loved every frame.
