A movie that involves Kadal and is also like Kadal :). It is a patience tester. The first is half can be tolerated because though slow there are a few good romance scenes. It is the second half that makes you go mad. Director Bharath Bala must have been smoking grass. There are hallucination scenes involving Cheetah, then one with heroine and to top in all, the hero and his friend have a hallucination full meal with arrack and even a cigar that does not exist! Dhanush has acted brilliantly but that alone cannot save the film. A R Rehman’s music is a disappointment. Many will not agree but there is always a big difference between listening to songs and watching them in a movie. The film is already sloooow and to top that his “Engaaaaa Ponaaaa Rasaaaaa” or “Innummmm Konjammm Neram” make the film even longer and you desperately want the songs to end. Heroine Parvathy is dusky, beautiful, kisses the hero, hugs him and exposes a bit; but the performance seen in her debut tamil film is sadly missing. The only other good point is the cinematography which is top notch. Don’t watch.
