A cool time travel film that will definitely entertain you. In 1975, Vishal and his friend S J Surya are gangsters who rule the city. Vishal gets shot by their enemy and SJS wants to avenge his friend’s death. A scientist invents a phone that can connect with the past with some rules. The scientist meets with an accident. In 1995, the invention lands in the hands of Vishal (in dual role) who uses it to connect with his past. This alters the present reality for Vishal, SJ Surya and his son (also SJ Surya). The film is owned by SJ Surya. He is completely wacky and lights up every single frame. The title card has “Nadippu Arakkan” in front of his name and he has lived up to it. The first half just races past. The time travel concept is narrated in a simplistic format so that it is easy for everyone to understand. Songs are a let down and the action sequence in climax is unwarranted. There is a particular scene with Silk Smitha which is super entertaining especially with SJS’s dance and dialogue delivery. There are several places where the film looks a bit amateurish but still it entertains big time.
