5 out of 5 stars

A brilliant thriller that keeps you engaged from start to finish. Vijay Sethupathi is a barber who goes to the police station to complain about his lost Lakshmi (a trash can – no spoiler as this is revealed at the beginning of the film). Why this complaint is the basic plot. It is a cake walk role for Vijay Sethupathi in his 50th film and he has played the role well. All the characters have acted well. The film belongs to director, Nithilan Swaminathan (Kurangu Bommai fame). With a brilliant screenplay and twists the film keeps you super engrossed. Been quite some time since we saw such intelligent writing and Nithilan has just nailed the script. Don’t want to spoil the fun. Go for it.
