There are times when the hero turns into a villain. In this case the Editor seems to have turned into the villain. A good plot and great acting let down by sloppy editing. A rich corporate villain strikes a deal with the politicians to win over a refinery contract. He takes help from Nagarjuna (an ex-intelligence officer). Nagarjuna identifies four beggars to act as benami through which the money could be moved. However one of the beggars, Dhanush, escapes and the hunt for Dhanush begins. Dhanush is brilliant as the beggar and has come up with an award deserving performance. Nagarjuna has tried something new and plays an important character with ease. Rashmika is wasted. The second half is never ending and drags on. At 3hr plus run time, beyond a point several scenes become repetitive. The editor could have easily cut 30min. The climax is also lazily written. The length tires you down.
