1.5 out of 5 stars

There is nothing new and the film ends as one amongst the many releases this week. The director has taken a message worth preaching and has tried to build a story. Unfortunately instead of building the story around his message, he has tried to build a routine love story and tried to link it to his message. The ending appears to be like a news reel shown at the end instead of the beginning. Ashok Selvan is a middle bencher and is someone whom no one notices. He comes across Priya Anand who happens to be the first person to appreciate him. He immediately falls in love with her and joins the same college where she plans to study. When Priya learns about his love she dismisses it and informs him that she cannot love an ordinary middle bencher. How he manages to win her forms the plot which reminds you of Ethir Neechal. The film is an insult to the middle benchers who are not dumb as shown by the hero’s characterisation. Samuthrakani and Priya Anand are good as always. Ashok Selvan looks like a misfit because we have seen him in intelligent roles before. Don’t waste food. Please share it with people who are hungry. Now that I have passed on the message, have a nice weekend.
