3.5 out of 5 stars

A gripping tale with suspense and revenge as the main theme. Thoroughly enjoyed the interesting narration and several subtle moments. The movie starts with someone stabbing a village big man. Sasikumar is Kidari the right-hand man of this person. The movie talks about the various people who could have stabbed him. The plot is similar to that of Vishal’s Kathakali. However, this film has no dull moments and interests you right from start to the very end. The characters have all even cast well and do complete justice to the role. Music and cinematography are very good. The only drawback is the first half which appears to be very long due to some predictable scenes. The second half moves at brisk pace and has a lot of plot twists. There is excessive violence with bloodshed and hence the film is not suitable for kids.
