2.5 out of 5 stars

Partly funny but mostly ordinary. Vishnu Vishal has tried to repeat a rehash of his earlier success, “Velainnu Vanthuta Vellaikaran”, which was also an ordinary film. I have always admired his movie selection and I think it is important for him to go back to his earlier type of films. In this film he acts as a person who is scared to even cross the road. He meets and falls in love with Catherine. His father-in-law refuses to get his daughter married to a coward. How he overcomes his fear forms the plot. There is no logic in the film and very few jokes of Suri work. It is only in the second half Anandaraj as a Sheikh creates some funny moments. The climax turns hilarious with the entry of Mottai Rajendran as Mike Maari. He rocks the theatre with his song delivery and hence you leave the theatre smiling.
