Tamil’s first direct to home movie. While there could be many reasons why the film was not released in theatres, this definitely is an attempt that is worth welcoming. It is so nice to watch a Cheran’s film after a long gap but unfortunately the film is a disappointment. The story is about a carefree young man JK, who speeds on the road and spends most of his time on Facebook or with friends. An incident changes his life. He turns into a successful businessman. What is the incident and why he became responsible forms rest of the story. The first half is good and moves fast. The second half kills the movie with a painstakingly slow narration and flashbacks that are not required. The songs are good but the placement in second half is bad. Some of the scenes remind you of an english love story (P.S I love You). The film has a non-linear narration and this could have been shown better. Though there is Santhanam, the film lacks in humour quotient. A good attempt from Cheran but the film lacks his earlier finesse.
