5 out of 5 stars

A film that should not be missed. The film is based on a police atrocities against tribal people. Right at the beginning the director makes us realize how the tribals are harassed by the police. Manikandan and Lijomol Jose are happily married and are expecting their second child. Their life turns upside down when police arrest Manikandan and he goes missing. How Surya helps in unravelling the truth forms the plot. Surya shines in his role as  the advocate who makes us realize that everyone is not equal in this world and the role our judiciary system plays in maintaining the balance. The film belongs to Lijomol. She is absolutely brilliant and deserves several awards for her performance. The dialogues are hard hitting. Sean Rolden’s songs are good but the BGM could have been better. Kudos to the director for coming up with a hard hitting film and making it so entertaining. Love the last few scenes especially the one which highlights that education brings about equilibrium. One of the finest films in recent times. Go for it.
