4 out of 5 stars

This is a hilarious mass entertainer. A perfect weekend time pass movie. The film is loosely based on a Vivek’s comedy where he becomes a don by accident. In this case an ageing don wants to find a successor to manage his business and also marry his daughter. His henchmen assume that GV Prakash is a big rowdy and bring him in front of the rowdy. Meanwhile GV who actually has a phobia for blood falls in love with the don’s daughter and hence decides to play along. What happens after that is narrated with a lot of fun. Director Sam Anton should be credited for the script and the numerous funny scenes with filmy background. Every scene is a laugh riot. GV fits the role perfectly. Anandhi is fine too. Every comedian has a piece of the comedy cake be it Karunas or Mottai Rajendran or VTV Ganesh. The songs by GV are excellent Kuthu numbers and strike the right chord. The director has left no stone unturned to make the film a hit. The characters make fun of many famous dialogues but the best among the lot is Rajendran mouthing Kabali dialogue. Some scenes appear to be forced and ofcourse one cannot expect too much logic in such films. Just go watch and have fun.
