An outdated film with very little fun and a lot of patience testing moments. Arvindswamy is a widower who is good at heart, son of a rich businessman yet short tempered and believes in using his muscles all the time. Amala Paul’s daughter goes to the same school as Arvindswamy’s son. Both the kids try to hook up their parents. Arvindswamy is good as Bhaskar with a mannerism that is enjoyable. Amala Paul has very little to do. The kids are enjoyable. It is the comedy that falls flat. Could be because it is something similar to what we saw Vadivelu do in “Friends” or could be because it is executed by Soori and Robo Shankar this time. Director Siddique’s template comedy could have worked for Mammooty but it appears outdated in the Tamil version.
