4.5 out of 5 stars

A great film that talks about an important concern. The message is strong but the delivery is to straight and hence gives you a documentary feel. Nayanthara is a collector who has been suspended and she faces an enquiry. During the enquiry, we get to know of an incident where a young girl has fallen into a borewell pit. The film is about her efforts to save the girl and why she has been suspended. Director Gopi has done a great job. Nayanthara is brilliant. Ghibran’s music is very good. The director wanted to make the film at least two hours and hence he has added a lot of unwanted scenes. Especially the television talk show gives a definite documentary feel. There are no light moments and this could have been balanced by the director. Watch it for some excellent and relevant messages.
