Building strong but basement weak. The film has an interesting first half that introduces us Jayam Ravi (Agilan) who works as a henchman in port but rises to be a kingpin by killing many people and through illegal means. Though there are a lot of confusions, we still expect some twist to justify his actions. The second half is completely illogical and hence disappointing. The backstory is dull and everything that happens on screen looks really stupid. The socialism that they talk looks so artificial….for example: 2000 people get stranded in an unmanned island and the government sends them dhal and rice in a ship instead of evacuating them. I kept wondering as to why they couldn’t send some chicken and mint leaves….those people could have made chicken biriyani and lived happily ever after. Jesus Christ.
