3.5 out of 5 stars

First half is hilarious and entertaining. The tuition centre episodes, first kiss, convincing parents, etc are very well executed. Though the second half has a strong script, the narration is a let down and drags big time. A faster pace with crisper editing would make this a sure shot hit. Like all hyped songs, the picturization of Kolaveri is a disappointment. Dhanush’s acting is top class. Shruthi is good in parts but every time she starts crying audience start howling. Overall this is a decent flick which not everyone will like. I liked it because of nostalgia and the bold attempt in movie making.
