4.5 out of 5 stars

Wow…another gem from director Lijo Jose Pellissery. Mammooty once again proves why he is the best amongst the best actors. It is a simple story about a group of family members returning from a pilgrimage. These Malayalam speakers get stuck in a TamilNadu village. Why they had to stay there and how the sleepy village responds to them forms the crux. Lijo proves once again why he is a director we need to keep an eye on. He is definitely one of the best and he impresses us in every frame. Be it the cinematography, story setting, narration, acting….everything impresses. The music is truly the backbone of this film and the Tamil dialogues and songs are just awesome. I even wonder if this is a film for Malayalees or Tamil fans because the latter will be able to relate more with this film. Mammooty deserves an award for his performance. Ofcourse the movie is slow but what else can you expect in a sleepy village. Don’t miss.
