4 out of 5 stars

A great thriller on a sensitive topic. A Muslim man who loses his family in a landslide tries to get back to normalcy. His father, brother and his Hindu neighbours form his close circle. One night, a policeman enters their house with an accused whose accomplices are trying to rescue him from the police. How this incident changes their life and how it helps the hero to understand what religion has now done to people forms the plot. Prithviraj has to be commended for playing such a bold character. He has also produced this movie and hence it calls for double kudos. The father character is perfect. The film is dark and intense. The big drawback is the one sided nature of the film which kind of makes everyone look bad. Responsible filmmaking is not about just showing the realities of life but also showing the light at the end of the tunnel.
