5 out of 5 stars

A fantastic film. Mammooty is a soft spoken politician who is about to contest in a local body election. Just when he files his nomination, his wife Jyothika files for a divorce. The reason for filing the divorce after 20 years of marriage and how it affects Mammooty and few others forms the basic plot. There is nothing more to write about Mammooty’s acting or choice of film selection. He has been outstanding over the last 5 decades. What amazes me is his ability to push himself in not just reinventing but also doing bolder scripts. If last year’s Puzhu was a wow…this one is a double wow. Jyothika is an apt choice. Mathews Pulickan’s music is absolutely brilliant. Several emotional moments and key scenes are without dialogues and we blend with the scene due to the BGM. The film belongs to director, Jeo Baby. His, The Great Indian Kitchen got people thinking and this one will do the same. Having a bold script is one thing but narrating it like a good poetry is a skill. Jeo Baby has mastered that art. The climax is a beauty. A must watch.
