A feel-good movie with a lot of cinematic liberties that help in winning the audience’s hearts. You can even term this as a road movie narrated in third person. When heroine Parvathy occupies a new house, she gets to know about its previous occupant, Dulquer Salmaan. Our hero is a carefree young man who keeps travelling and, in that process, brings smile and joy to people around him. As she learns more about him, she gets intrigued to meet him and soon realises that she is falling in love with him. Did she get to meet him and will they unite forms the basic plot. The film’s soul is Dulquer’s acting. He has come with a fine performance that makes you fall in love with Charlie. Parvathy is equally brilliant. While the situations lack logic completely (like the hero doing a magic with a Polaroid photo), they are enjoyable. The slow pace makes the movie appear stretched. Even Gopi Sundar’s great songs bring in a bit of tiredness to the narrative. Cinematography is another big plus. Watch the film for Dulquer and the feel good narrative.
