A heart touching love story with a poetic touch. In the 18th century, a girl is engaged to a nobleman and her mother gets a female painter to get her portrait done. A forbidden love starts between them and the film is about their bonding and what happens. This is a beautifully shot film with excellent acting. The screenplay is good. Sad that this film didn’t get nominated for Oscar.
