2.5 out of 5 stars

Technically good but is too slow and will put you to sleep. The film is about a nun in 1960s Poland, who goes to meet her aunt before taking her vow. The aunt and she sets off on a journey to discover her parent’s grave and in the process re-discover themselves. There are no twists and the film is too linear with minimal dialogues. Acting is top class. The cinematography in B/W is outstanding….wonder why they don’t shoot these days in Black and White. An average film that can be missed.
