Whiplash is brilliant and film making at its best. It is a simple story about an ambitious young drummer who takes help from an instructor who is in the habit of pushing his students to the limit. It is a WOW film with brilliant performances. I was tired and wanted to watch the film for 30min but ended up watching the entire film. Just started watching the oscar nominated films but I am sure J.K.Simmons is going to walk away with the Oscar for his career best performance as the obsessed instructor. The music is also awesome especially the climax drum beats. The language is very strong and not suitable for children.
