The film is a good adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s Man Booker prize winning novel. This dark comedy focuses on the class struggle that exists in India and how the rich take the poor for a ride. The film chronicles the story of a simple man who leaves his village and comes to the city and what the city has in store for him. The film touches upon several important realities with humour. The performances are good. The film has a lot of Hindi and so it is actually a two language film. A worthy watch.
