4.5 out of 5 stars

After a long time a beautiful love story that will touch you and move you to tears. As a big fan of love stories, I always wondered why the American filmmakers in recent years are obsessed only with rom-coms and not true romantic movies. There is no “A Moment to Remember” or “Classic” or “Windstruck” like in the korean movies. The moment I learnt that TFIOS is being made, I was eagerly waiting for the films release and managed to catch a premiere show. I am glad I watched this film. It is a simple love story narrated by a terminally ill girl who falls in love with a cancer survivor who has lost his leg. The movie is full of life and slowly pulls you into it. You feel so much a part of Hazel and Gus that you really don’t want the movie to end. Don’t miss this film if you like romance. Watch it even otherwise.
