A good kid movie but definitely not half as good as the first part. There is a lot of expectation from a Pixar film but this one is no where in the league of their earlier films. Maybe slightly above Cars 2 🙂 In this movie, the monsters join a University with a hope to graduate as scarer and the protagonist fights all odds to reach the goal. Not a new story and the screenplay lacks the required punch. Watch it if your kids are a fan of the first part.
