One of the best films for this Oscar season and is a must watch. The film is about three african-american women who are super brilliant and how they support America’s first successful space mission despite the discrimination. It is one of the strongest films on discrimination this season. The film happens in 1960s where even NASA had a separate wing for coloured people. They were not allowed to grow in their career and they can’t use the facilities meant for white employees. Octavia Spencer is brilliant as the supervisor who motivates her entire team to learn a computer language. She has a high chance of winning her second Oscar. It is sad to note that the leading lady Taraji couldn’t win a nomination. The film is entertaining from start to the very end. There are many touching moments. The film is flawless except for some over dramatisation of a love angle which is not too relevant to the story telling.
