4 out of 5 stars

A great entertainer on a relevant topic. In 2007, a Multinational company announces that they are breeding some super-sized pigs across different countries. After 10 years, the farmer who has the biggest/best big will get a reward. In 2017, we see Mija, a korean girl with a giant-sized pig. They bond very well and love each other. What happens when the MNC takes their pig back and Miya’s journey to get her pig back forms the plot. The film is not only thrilling but also exposes the ugly truth behind the meat market. All animal lovers will love this film. My kids enjoyed the film…it is such a joy to watch Okja. There are a couple of disturbing scenes and apart from them, the film is kid friendly. Don’t miss.
