After a long time, a Bala film that everyone will like. The film starts with a pregnant minor girl (Ivana) and the police chasing the person who is responsible (G.V. Prakash). Jyothika is the police officer, Naachiyar who deals with the case. The film moves back and forth with a series of flashbacks. Since we know Bala well, we could easily guess the interval sequence and how the movie will travel, yet the film is interesting. As a lover of romantic films, I fell in love with the naive love story. Ivana was brilliant and she is a great find. Loved her expressions and the way she has acted. G.V. and Jyothika have done well too. Ilaiyaraaja’s music is a big asset. Please don’t leave the hall after the film. Stay back and enjoy the music score during the end credits. At 100min runtime the film is short and sweet. Go for it.
