4 out of 5 stars

A fun and enjoyable film. Superhero movies have started getting darker and the studio actually needed the friendly neighbourhood spidey to get us back to the comic book faithful types. There is no darkness and there is no philosophy, it is only some kid humour, gadgets and action. Spider-Man is bored and is waiting for a call from IronMan to join the Avengers’ next mission. While Iron Man plays the role of his mentor, he also wants Spider-Man to focus on his normal life. This is when, the vulture comes in and things start changing. Tom Holland and Michael Keaton are good but as always it is Robert Downey Jr. who steals the show with his Iron Man performance. Take your kids because they can’t miss their friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man.
