2 out of 5 stars

This film could have been a lot better but the director’s confusion on the genre makes it dull and boring. Jeyam Ravi is a tribal person who lives in Andaman without any knowledge of outer world. Due to some turn of events, he comes to the city with a rich girl, Sayyeshaa. How he tries to adapt and how goes back to his village forms the plot. There are absolutely no dialogues for Ravi except for one or two words. Yet, he manages to emote well and has played his part well. The surprise part of the film is heroine Saayeshaa. She is pretty, acts well and is a brilliant dancer. Director Vijay must have been confused whether to make it a Jungle movie like Tarzan or a movie like Avatar talking about co-existences or a comedy like George of the Jungle or a love story. In the end, he does a mix and match which falls flat. Harris Jeyaraj’s music is OK but BGM is sad. There is a fight with tiger which is pathetic. The climax is also uninspiring.
