The film partly scares you and partly makes you laugh but overall leaves you with some mixed feeling. Jiva is a house broker who is keen on buying his own house. However the house that he buys has a ghost living in it. This ghost is passionate about the house and does not want anyone else staying there. How Jiva and his friend Soori manage the situation forms the basic plot. The first half is entertaining with some good comedy scenes involving Soori. It is nice to see Soora’s comedy finally working. It is in the second half when the film tries to get sentimental that the film starts to get boring. However, towards the end, the climax scenes have some fun elements which helps the film end on a better note. The film is a mix of several recent horror movies that we have watched in the recent past, however the scenes still work and the credit should go to director Ike. Jiva has played his part well but it is also time for him to re-think and comeback with a stronger film. He is good with comedy but a talented actor like him shouldn’t be stuck with only light comedies. SriDivya is good too. Soori is the pillar for this film and he has played his role to perfection. With son many talented music directors singing a song, Vishal Chandrashekar still gives an uninspiring album. The BGM however is good. If only the director had cut the sentiment scenes, worked on a stronger second half and especially finished the film with a great comedy scene, it would have worked big time. Right now, the film is yet another (better made) comedy horror.
