2.5 out of 5 stars

A detective thriller with some ghost element and comedy. The only problem with the film is it doesn’t take any of these genres seriously. A murder happens in a train and Raghava Lawrence is asked to investigate. The only witness to the crime is a pigeon and this bird tries to help our hero. Meanwhile, the hero’s wife gets possessed by the ghost of the dead man who also wants to find out the killer and the motive. The film lacks logic in several scenes yet it doesn’t bore you because of the regular doses of comedy, songs and action. This is truly Vadivelu’s comeback film as he shines in several scenes with his body language and dialogue delivery. Thaman’s kuthu songs are bulls eye, though the dance steps are repetitive. Heroine Rithika continues to show promise. The film is toooo long and we eagerly wait for it to end. The climax has no surprises and the twists seem to be forced.
