A hit and miss love story between a married couple that mostly works. The film is set in a Madurai village temple where a few people assemble to pray to the village deity. They watch a couple (Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menon) fight along with their respective families. They try to bring peace by trying to find what went wrong and the reason for their split. The films has some funny moments but there is also this irritating high pitch fights that don’t work. Most of the characters are dysfunctional and the entire humour is based on some crazy moments. The chemistry between the lead pair is a big plus. Yogi Babu and the humor portions worked well, especially during the end. If the hero had reduced his volume and not screamed and if a few unwanted scenes including some fight sequences were trimmed, the film would have been more entertaining.
