2.5 out of 5 stars

Remake of Telugu mediocre film, Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam. The Tamil remake is also mediocre. Vikram Prabhu is 33 years old and there is a lot of pressure on him to get married. He finally gets a bride (Sushmita Bhat) in a far away district and travels with his family for his engagement. The family is forced to stay back due to a sudden Covid lockdown. What happens after forms rest of the plot. The movie is slow and predictable. Even the so called twists are expected. The ending feels stretched. Sean Rolden’s music is very good. If only the makers had rectified the problems with the original and introduced some freshness into the script, this would have been a worthy watch.
