4.5 out of 5 stars

Don’t miss this film. A simple story about a family which includes a a grandfather, a father who is a simpleton, a mother and two sons. The elder son is a film director who is working on his second script. The father is technologically challenged and is keen on buying a smartphone to connect with his son. When is son visits home, the father wants to make use of the opportunity to bond with him and also learn how to use the phone. This brilliant film talks about several important points (which also in a way dilutes the film) including the father-son bonding and how sometimes the smartphones instead of bringing people together, increases the distance between them. Indrans has delivered an award deserving performance. One of the best films in recent times.
