The Purge is not a movie for everyone. Even the previous parts couldn’t strike chord with many. The Forever Purge is the latest instalment that could work only with the fans of the previous films. While the government announces Purge for a 12 hour window between which anyone can kill anyone, a group of people decide not to stop and continue purging people forever. How the lead characters escape from this group forms the plot. The setting of the film resonates with some of the hate crimes that have happened in the recent past. The movie is templatized and other than the extended purge, there is nothing new in this violent film.
