Wow…what a film! A FBI agent gets Bill O’Neal to infiltrate the Blank Panther party and bring down the party chairman, Fred Hampton. The film is easily amongst the best releases in 2020 with amazing performances from Daniel Kaluuya as Fred Hampton and Lakeith Stanfield and Bill O’Neal. Unfortunately both have been pitted against each other for the academy awards (or fortunately not competing against Chadwick). I think Kaluuya stands a better chance at winning for his dialogue delivery. The film has some powerful dialogues. There are some tense moments and you keep rooting for both the lead actors. A powerful film that shouldn’t be missed.
